Distance Education

The Pathasala imparts distance education in chanting and singing Divya Prabhandam and other sacred works, through a graded series of lessons on cassettes, supplemented by notes. The idea is to make students familiar with core material, especially when they are unable to attend Pathasala directly. The programme was inaugurated by noted novelist Sujatha in 1995, and has about 200 students on the rolls currently. The work is extended to the Academy of Sanskrit research, Melkote, and also Sri Vaishnava Sri, Trichy.
