The Pathasala temple complex is a nexus for healthy social interaction. We have adopted the village of Jalladampet village, as much as the village of Jalladampet have accepted our presence wholeheartedly. The children of the village are helped in their homework as well as with tuition fees, uniform, books, food etc., while also being taught Tiruppavai, song, dance and crafts. Girls profit by learning to sew, make dolls, and baskets, while young men are helped to become self-employed. Women come during afternoons to learn Divya Prabandham and men with alcoholism problem are given de-addiction help in association with T.T.Ranganathan Clinic Adyar
