The Heritage of the Alwars is closely linked with the 108 Divya Desas or hallowed temple towns dotting over the countryside of Tamilnadu,Kerala and elsewhere. A visit to the shrines helps us to understand the poetry of Alwars better and vice versa. Students long associated with our study programmes are taken through the guided tours of the Divya Desas, one or more at a time.
