Value Education

In a bold initiative by Mrs.Y.G.Parthasarathy noted educationalist and senior principal, Padma Seshadri Balabhavan Schools enlisted the support of the Pathasala I introducing value education in school curriculum. The stories of Alvars presented in the Busybee summer camp of 1996, and stories from Sri Bhavatam in Summer Camp of 1997 Proved immensely popular with the children and the programme was included in the regular curriculum through prescribed non-detailed text book for classes IV, V, and VI and supplemented by lectures / chanting sessions, The scheme has been absorbed by RM Jain Higher Secondary School, Tiruvallur, and  several other are showing interest in adopting the pattern for their own curriculum.
